Iceland is a world class splitboard touring destination. With huge snowfalls and peaks rising from sea level up to 1400 meters, the Troll Peninsula on the northern tip of the Island is a force to reckon with.
Accommodation
As with many of our courses, we have chosen to rent a property and self-cater in Iceland. This is a great way to run a real snowboarding adventure. It’s relaxed, keeps costs down and is a great way for the group to hang out, gel and bond together. Everyone mucks in so come with your best, hearty recipe to help feed the troops one night.
Logistics
Flights should arrive in Keflavik by early afternoon on the Saturday. It’s a fair old drive to Siglufjordur but spectacular scenery that should not be missed on a trip to Iceland. We will return to Keflavik for midday on the following Saturday. If you don’t fancy the drive then it’s possible to take an internal flight at your own expense to Akueryri.
