Course objectives
It’s been an amazing experience to be able to teach my own daughter, Tia, to snowboard over the last few years. Seeing how stoked she gets from cruising around on her board, making turns, hitting small jumps and even laying out eurocarves blows my mind. Having fun, no stress, playing games and never pressuring her to succeed has been key to her learning to love to snowboard. With this in mind I have developed the Learn to Shred course to be able to share this with other like minded kids whose goal is to shred the mountain, enjoy snowboarding (and drinking hot chocolate).
Considerations
It’s a hard knock life. There has to be an acceptance that you will take a fall when snowboarding, particularly in the early stages. With good tuition this is greatly reduced, but never eradicated.
